A Look Back at 2018 - Chairperson of AOSAP Community Development
2018 has been a dramatic year of membership development in AOSAP. Remaining thenumber one region in AOSpine globally in term of the number of the membership, membership in AOSAP is still over 2000. Even with significant decrease of membershipin China (Almost 65%) due to unpreventable reasons, rest of the AOSAP enjoyed acontinues growth including Japan, Korea, Australia and New Zealand, as well as Indiasubcontinental. More community development events were held in 2018 which includescollaboration with 11 Asia Pacific academic associations in 2018 (COAS 2018, COA2018, MISSCOT, PSS, SSS, ASSICON 2018, CSPSAP 2018, ICS 2018, JSSR, KSNS,KSSS). These events helped AOSpine to maintain close friendships with members andassociates.
Looking forward to 2019, AOSAP will keep growing further, with the support from everymember and colleagues.
